MUAHS Awards Ceremony Set for February 20, 2027, at the Westin Bonaventure

The Make-Up Artists & Hair Stylists Guild (MUAHS, IATSE Local 706) today announced the schedule for its 14th Annual MUAHS Awards, presented by Giovanni Eco Chic Beauty. Submissions open Monday, September 21, 2026, and the gala ceremony will take place on Saturday, February 20, 2027, returning to the Westin Bonaventure in Los Angeles. Julie Socash, President of IATSE Local 706, made the announcement.

The MUAHS Awards celebrate outstanding achievements by make-up artists and hair stylists in motion pictures, television, television specials, children and teen programming, commercials, music videos, and live theater. The eligibility period for all categories spans the 2026 calendar year. The Guild also annually honors exceptional industry talent with the Distinguished Artisan Award and Lifetime Achievement Awards.

Submissions Open (All Categories): Monday, September 21, 2026, at 9:00 a.m. PT
Submissions Close (All Categories): Friday, November 6, 2026, at 9:00 p.m. PT
Nominations Voting Opens: Monday, November 23, 2026, at 9:00 a.m. PT
Nominations Voting Closes: Monday, December 14, 2026, at 9:00 p.m. PT
Nominations Announced: Monday, December 21, 2026
Final Online Voting Begins: Friday, January 22, 2027, at 9:00 a.m. PT
Final Online Voting Closes: Sunday, February 7, 2027, at 9:00 p.m. PT
Winners Announced Live at the MUAHS Awards: Saturday, February 20, 2027
