2022 – 2023 OFFICIAL RULES AND REGULATIONS
Make-up Artists and Hair Stylists Guild Awards


INTRODUCTION

The Make Up Artists & Hair Stylists Guild Awards are governed by the Guild’s President, Business Representative and Secretary Treasurer.

The President will yearly appoint a chairperson of the Rules & Regulations Committee and a Chairperson of the Lifetime Achievement and Distinguished Artisan Awards Committee.


LIFETIME ACHIEVEMENT AWARD

An Award will be given to one Local 706 make-up artist and one hair stylist, for contributions, accomplishments, and recognition for their distinguished body of work.

Nominees for Lifetime Achievements must be living, Active Retired Members, or Retired Members on Honorable Withdrawal, or Members on Honorable Withdrawal of Make-up Artists and Hairstylist Local 706.

An appointed Guild Awards Lifetime Achievement & Distinguished Artisan Awards Committee, approved by the Local 706 Executive Board, will make recommendations of nominees. The Local 706 Active, or Active Retired Members, will vote online for the most qualified Lifetime Award.


DEFINITIONS OF MAKE-UP AND HAIR STYLING

Subject to the specific requirements of any given award category, make-up shall be defined as any change in the appearance of a performer’s face or body created by the application of cosmetics, facial hair goods, and/or prosthetic appliances applied directly by the make-up artist to the performer’s face or body. Prosthetics are any three-dimensional appliances, including 3D transfers, that have been prepared in advance from a mold and applied to the actor to change his/her appearance and to give character to the make-up. It could be as small as a scar or wound, or as large as full facial pieces, and/or body parts, or bald caps. Make-up is NOT changes caused by special lighting, camera lenses, optical effects or computer imaging.  It is not puppets or any device that is not on the performer’s face or body.

Subject to the specific requirements of any given award category, hair styling shall be defined as any change in the appearance of a performer’s hair by the act of hair styling, for example designing, cutting, coloring, arranging the performer’s hair, as well as the designing, preparation and application of wigs or hairpieces by the hairstylist to create a character.  It is not changes caused by special lighting, camera lenses, optical effects or computer imaging.  It is not for hair styling on puppets


TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR NOMINATION PURPOSES, A MAKE-UP ARTIST OR HAIRSTYLIST MUST:

  1. Be involved in the daily hands-on application and supervision of the make-up and/or hair styling achievement.

Or

  1. Be involved in the physical three-dimensional creation of the achievement under consideration and/or actively and physically participate in the hands-on make-up, and/or hair styling application during make-up and/or hair styling tests, which results are approved by the respective Make-up or Hairstyling Department Head.

ENTRY FORM GUIDELINES

FEATURE LENGTH MOTION PICTURE 

To qualify, entry must have over seventy (70) minutes running time, be first publicly shown in a commercial motion picture theater and have a seven (7) consecutive day run in Los Angeles.

To qualify for the Motion Picture category, features also released on a streaming platform must also have a minimum 7-day theatrical release in Los Angeles.

The qualifying period for Features is from January 1, 2022 through December 31, 2022

Any Feature previously submitted in 2021 during the Covid extension is not eligible.

TELEVISION PRODUCTIONS

 Television Productions will automatically be recognized for the ENTIRE season unless there was a change of Department or Personal Artist, the individual episode(s) may be submitted.  You may not do both.

THEATRICAL PRODUCTIONS:

 Must be work done in the State of California.

COMMERCIALS and MUSIC VIDEOS

 The entire commercial or music video may be submitted not to exceed five minutes.  The entire commercial or music video must be aired on network, cable television or streaming provider.

SUSBMISSIONS

A separate Entry Form must be completed for each Category you wish to enter.

  1. Entries may be submitted by Department Heads, Personal Artists, Studios, Awards Offices and/or Productions.  Please coordinate so there are NOT multiple submissions for the SAME production category.
  2. For persons submitting on behalf of the department head or personal artist you must contact the Department Head to ensure the proper individuals have been included representing the project and the proper category has been selected.
  3. For persons submitting please have a proper description prepared and the optional photo ready to upload. (Please see photo guidelines on Awards Force/ Submissions Platform)
  4. For persons submitting you must submit a contact email that can be reached during non-office hours if there are questions regarding your submission during the vetting process.
  5. For persons submitting, all submissions not received on time or are incomplete may be held ineligible when submissions close.

NOTICE: All corrections or communications must be sent in writing via email to prevent any miscommunications.

 After the close of submissions, the vetting committee will communicate any corrections that are needed to the email provided on the submission form. You will be given 48 hours to make those corrections. If not corrected within the time frame the submission may be considered ineligible.

  • 6. If you wish to appeal the vetting committee’s change or decision you will be given 48 hours to appeal. Appeals must be sent to [email protected] If you do not wish to appeal, then the submission will stand where the vetting committee placed it.

    Once notice has been given for corrections submissions for 2022 are closed. There will be no further changes allowed no exceptions.

ELIGIBLE ENTRANTS

Eligible Entrants are the Make-Up Artists or Hair Stylist(s)  most responsible for the overall look of the achievements being recognized.

Two statues may be given per Award Category with up to two petitions through application to consider per category.  Under certain circumstances a maximum of 4 statues may be awarded per category.

 By definition, the Petitioned applicant(s) must be that additional party(s) (Make-Up Artist or Hair Stylist) who was also considered the most responsible contributing party for the look of the entry.

 Department Heads may be asked to provide additional information for any petitions sent to the vetting committee. Submission for petition does not guarantee a place on the ballot.

The petition(s) MUST be included at the time of submission. 

 Late petitions will NOT be accepted. 

 Department Heads may also opt-out if it is determined under the circumstances that another artist is equal or more responsible and the Department head wishes them to be recognized.

DESCRIPTIONS

There must be a relevant description of the work contained in the submission that is no less than 50 words and a maximum of 200 words. It is required that the description must explain the techniques used to create the look(s) for the award and category being submitted.

 This is to inform the voting peer group of the processes you employed as the Department Head or Personal Artists. Describe your work and not the products. Do not add description of any work done that does not pertain to the category being submitted.  Improper descriptions may lead to being recategorized.

 Please include how your 2nd applicant contributed to the look of the entry within the 200-word description.  If a third (3rd) or fourth (4th) applicant is to be entered through Petition, a 50-word minimum, 100-word maximum statement of why this person(s) should be included in the entry will be required in the Petition area.  All descriptions and petitions must be submitted at the same time as the entry.

PHOTO UPLOAD OPTION

 There will be an option to upload an authorized photo, or a one-page collage of your work to be displayed with your submission. The photo(s) must be of the work done within the category submitted. It may not be photoshopped, altered or contain any personal names.  One page maximum allowed and all photos will be vetted before displayed to the membership.

The photo must be submitted at the same time as your submission. There will not be the option to upload a photo once your submission is received.

 The vetting committee may remove any photograph that does not comply with the Rules.

It is the responsibility of the person(s) submitting the photograph(s) to have proper authorization to use the photograph for voting purposes only.

We will not use photos for any other purpose then the MUAHS Awards. We do not take responsibility for any unauthorized photos submitted.

Photo specifications are posted on the Awards Force/ Submissions Platform.

CERTIFICATES

Department Heads may select up to five additional outstanding contributors to receive Award Certificates for “Recognition for Outstanding Contribution”. These certificates will be awarded to the winning productions only.

There will be a place to submit these names during the submission process. There will not be any additional names accepted after your submission has been received.

PRODUCER’S DECLARATION FOR NOMINATED PRODUCTION

I / We understand that all entries must contain adequate evidence of authorization to use any names, likenesses, clips/excerpts/photographs associated with the entry and any other intellectual property necessary for evaluation of the entry, consideration of a nomination or otherwise in connection with the nomination and award-granting process. Such evidence has been sent via email and U.S. mail to the Guild on ____, 202__.

I / We acknowledge that I / we, and the Producer or a duly authorized agent of the Production Company, have represented the authenticity and adequacy of the evidence of authorization to use any names, likenesses, clips/excerpts/photographs associated with the entry and any other intellectual property necessary for evaluation of the entry, consideration of a nomination or otherwise in connection with the nomination and award-granting process I/we have submitted. I / We agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless the Guild and the producers of the Awards Show from and against any claims in the event that the attached evidence of authorization is determined to be insufficient for any reason.

I / We agree to make available to the Guild Awards Committee a clip in a digital format of not more than 10 minutes duration, highlighting the achievement for which this entry is submitted. We acknowledge and consent to the following: I /We have the right to create and to submit to the Guild Awards Committee the excerpt(s);

I / We have the right to authorize and do authorize the Guild Awards Committee to use for screening purposes on a non-exclusive basis the excerpt(s) or portions thereof in preparation for, and/or balloting in connection with, the Makeup Artist and Hair Stylist Awards Show (Show);

I / We have the right to authorize and so authorize the Guild Awards Committee, to facilitate online viewing of said clip in connection with balloting for the awards to be given at, or in preparation for, the Show;

I / We have the right to authorize the Guild Awards Committee to exhibit at the Show, and allow the broadcast of such excerpts as the Guild in its sole and unreviewable discretion shall select, such authorization to extend to any media outlets covering as news or carrying as programming the Show; and

I / We shall be solely liable for making all payments to third persons of any kind, including but not limited to, residuals, or obtaining a waiver thereof, arising from the Guild’s Awards Committee use of the excerpt(s) or portions thereof, including, but not limited to, any obligations arising out of the Guild Awards Committee selection and use of the excerpt(s) in domestic and international broadcast of the Show or portions thereof. I / We further agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless the Guild and the producers of the Awards Show from and against any claims in connection with the Guild’s Awards Committee use of the excerpt(s) or portions thereof, including, but not limited to, any obligations arising out of the Guild Awards Committee selection and use of the excerpt(s) in domestic and international broadcast of the Show or portions thereof. I / We acknowledge that the Producer assumes the sole responsibility of ensuring that studios, distributors, and networks whose projects have been nominated will grant the Guild Awards Committee the rights necessary to show clips from the excerpt(s) of nominated films and television programs, both domestically and internationally.

PROOF OF PARTICIPATION

 After submission, you must provide signed proof of working on the production (Proof of Participation) in a specific work classification from the producing company.  No Nomination will be considered without this signed proof.  By checking “I am Authorized” in the application you are agreeing to provide this proof.

VIDEO CLIP

  • In all categories if your submission is nominated, a three (3) to a five (5) minute video clip showcasing the techniques used must be provided.
  • No additional scoring or music allowed. 
  • Make no reference to the individuals, facilities, or production companies associated with the work for submission.
  • You will be contacted at the email you provided with a link to upload your video.
  1. For live theatrical category ONLY If video is not available photos and a description minimum 200 and maximum of 500 words of the work performed.

 The video will be available for all voting members to review at the time of final voting.

We will not use videos for any other purpose then the MUAHS Awards. We do not take responsibility for any unauthorized videos submitted.

PRODUCTION CATEGORIES

For each category to be eligible for recognition a minimum of three (3) qualified entries must be received or the category will be eliminated.

 Outstanding Make-up designed to represent years after 2000 to present day with continuity of application throughout the entry.  NOT FUTURE or FANTASY.

Contemporary may include fashion and trends from 2000 to present year.  Make-up executed as a disguise, character duplication or impersonation will be classified under the period, and/or character category.  If you have a show that features both characters and non-character the predominate will apply.

  1. Best Period and/or Character Make-up 

 Outstanding Period Make-up designed to represent years 1999 and prior.Character Make-up of any period, including Fantasy and Futuristic makeup artistry, that          changes the identity or appearance of an actor with NO use of prosthetics and continuity of             application throughout the entry.

  1. Best Special Make-up Effects

 Outstanding Make-up including the application of prosthetics to the performers face and or body, with continuity of application throughout the entry.  No mechanical, computer generated effects, dummiesor puppeteering will be considered.

HAIR STYLING

Two (2) Categories May be Entered

  1. Best Contemporary Hair Styling 

 Outstanding Hair Styling designed to represent years after 2000 to present day with continuity of application throughout the entry.

  1. Best Period and/or Character Hair Styling 

 Outstanding Period Hair styling designed to represent years 1999 and prior.  Character hairstyling of any period, including Fantasy and Futuristic hair styling, that changes the identity or appearance of an actor with or without the use of wigs, with continuity of application throughout the entry.


TELEVISION

BREAKDOWN OF AWARDS:   A Maximum of 2 statues may be given per Category with up to two petitions.

MAKE-UP

Three (3) Categories May be Entered

TELEVISION SERIES, TELEVISION LIMITED SERIES, OR MOVIE FOR TELEVISION

 All series must be shown on Network, Cable Television or a streaming provider (i.e.: Netflix, Hulu, Amazon etc.) that is available in Los Angeles prior to Midnight December 31, 2022.

To qualify as a Mini-Series, the complete program must have a minimum of two parts, with a minimum running time for all segments combined of four (4) hours.  The production must have a beginning, middle and an end with a finite number of episodes, generally between two (2) and twelve (12).  The story is resolved at the end of the broadcast. To qualify as a Movie for Television, the program should fit the minimum format length of 60 minutes or over.

  1. Best Contemporary Make-up 

  Outstanding Make-up designed to represent years after 2000 to present day with continuity of application throughout the entry.

  1. Best Period and/or Character Make-up 

Outstanding Period Make-up designed to represent years 1999 and prior. Character Make-up of any period, including Fantasy and Futuristic makeup artistry, that changes the identity or appearance of an actor with NO use of prosthetics and continuity of application throughout the entry.  This also includes celebrity disguises, duplication, and impersonations. A few examples (actor playing President Biden or Britney Spears)

  1. Best Special Make-up Effects 

 Outstanding Make-up including the application of prosthetics to the performers face and or body, with continuity of application throughout the entry.  No mechanical, computer generated effects, or puppeteering will be considered.

Hair Styling 

Two (2) Categories May be Entered

  1. Best Contemporary Hair Styling – Outstanding Hair styling designed to represent years after 2000 to present day with continuity of application throughout the entry. Contemporary may include fashion and trends from 2000 to present year.  Hair executed as a disguise, character duplication or impersonation will be classified under the period, and/or character category.  If you have a show that features both characters and non-character the predominate will apply.
  1. Best Period and/or Character Hair Styling – Outstanding Period Hair styling designed to represent years 1999 and prior.

Character Hairstyling of any period, including Fantasy and Futuristic hairstyling, that changes the identity or appearance of an actor with or without the use of wigs, with continuity of application throughout the entry. This also includes celebrity disguises, duplication and impersonations. A few examples (actor playing President Biden or Brittany Spears)


TELEVISION SPECIAL, ONE HOUR OR MORE LIVE PROGRAMS SERIES

BREAKDOWN OF AWARDS:   A Maximum of 2 statues may be given per Category with up to two petitions

MAKE-UP

 Three 3 Categories May be Entered

To qualify as a Special, the program should be a “stand-alone” production. To qualify as a One Hour or More Live Program Series, the program should be shot in front of a live audience, or due to the Pandemic, shown in a Live Audience format. Specials, One Hour or More Live Television Program Series, or Motion Pictures Made for Television must first be shown on Network Cable Television or a streaming provider (i.e.: Netflix, Hulu, Amazon, etc.) that is available in Los Angeles prior to midnight, December 31,2022

Due to the ongoing restrictions due to the Covid 19 Pandemic, for the 2022-2023 Awards any live programs that could not be shot in front of a live audience will still be accepted.

  1. Best Contemporary Make-up – Outstanding Make-up designed to represent years after 2000 to present day with continuity of application throughout the entry. Contemporary may include fashion and trends from 2000 to present year. Make-up executed as a disguise, character duplication or impersonation will be classified under the period, and/or character category.  If you have a show that features both characters and non-character the predominate will apply.
  1. Best Period and/or Character Make-up – Outstanding Period Make-up designed to represent years 1999 and prior.

DAYTIME TELEVISION, GAME SHOW OR TALK SHOW

MAKE-UP

 To be eligible under daytime the show must be either aired prior to 6:00PM PST and be shown on Network Cable Television or a streaming provider (i.e.: Netflix, Hulu, Amazon etc.) that is available in Los Angeles prior to Midnight December 31, 2022.  All game shows and/or talk shows will be eligible regardless of time aired prior to Midnight December 31, 2022.  Evening game shows, late night talk shows and news, will be eligible in this category. This category does NOT include reality or sketch comedy shows. Daytime includes any daytime dramas or previously included daytime programming.

  1. Best Make-up – All categories: Outstanding Contemporary, Period, Character, and Special Make-up Effects

HAIR STYLING 

All categories combined   

To be eligible under daytime the show must be either aired prior to 6:00PM PST and be shown on Network Cable Television or a streaming provider (i.e.: Netflix, Hulu, Amazon etc.) that is available in Los Angeles prior to Midnight December 31, 2022.  All game shows and/or talk shows will be eligible regardless of time aired prior to Midnight December 31, 2022.  Evening game shows, late night talk shows and news, will be eligible in this category. This category does NOT include reality or sketch comedy shows. Daytime includes any daytime dramas or previously included daytime programming.

  1. Best Hair Styling – All categories: Outstanding Contemporary, or Period/Character

CHILDREN AND TEEN TELEVISION PROGRAMMING 

BREAKDOWN OF AWARDS:   A Maximum of 2 statues may be given per Category with up to two  petitions

Children & Teen Television programming by definition will have a target audience ranging in age between 217 years of age.  The Series must be shown on Network, Cable Television or a streaming provider (ie: Netflix, Hulu, Amazon etc.) that is available in Los Angeles prior to Midnight December 31, 2022.

  1. Best Hair Styling – All categories: Outstanding Contemporary, or Period/Character

COMMERICALS & MUSIC VIDEOS

To qualify, entry must be aired on Network, Cable Television or streamed on a streaming provider (i.e.: Netflix, Hulu, Amazon or the Internet) in Los Angeles prior to Midnight December 31,2022.  This includes separate video ads and promos. It does not include trailers of any kind and all must be predominantly original content for purposes of promotion.

  1. Best Hair Styling – All categories: Outstanding Contemporary, or Period/Character

THEATRICAL PRODUCTIONS (LIVE STAGE)

BREAKDOWN OF AWARDS:   A Maximum of 2 statues may be given per Category with up to two  petitions

Outstanding Contemporary, Period, Character and Special Make-up Effects

To qualify entry must be performed within California prior to Midnight December 31,2022.  The entry must be judged on the merits of Make-up Artistry.   Submission does not have to be an original or new production.  Nominees must have dealt in a hands-on manner with creation/design and/or implementation of production submitted.  Creation and Design Nominees must also be involved in the hands-on during the production, or the California based “tech” period passing on to the crew, and instructing the application of makeup & wigs, hairstyles, and maintenance of the show.

Best Hair Styling 

All categories combined

  1. Outstanding Contemporary, Period and Character

To qualify entry must be performed within California prior to Midnight December 31,2022.  The entry must be judged on the merits of Hair Styling.   Submission does not have to be an original or new production.  Nominees must have dealt in a hands-on manner with creation/design and/or implementation of production submitted.  Creation and Design Nominees must also be involved in the hands-on during the production, or the California based “tech” period passing on to the crew, and instructing the application of makeup & wigs, hairstyles, and maintenance of the show.

GENERAL GUILD AWARDS RULES 

  1. Voting on all categories will be done by Active & Active Retiree Local 706 Members of Local 706, I.A.T.S.E. in good standing.
  2. The established statue trophy licensed by the Guild shall be awarded for all categories.
  3. Voting for nominations and awards shall be by secured member login and
    Awards Force.
  4. Television Productions will automatically be recognized for the ENTIRE season unless there was a change of Department or Personal Artist, the individual episode(s) may be submitted.  You may not do both.
  5. Two statues may be given per Award Category with up to two petitions through application to consider per category.  Under certain circumstances a maximum of 4 statues may be awarded per category.

        By definition the Petitioned applicant should be that additional party (makeup artist or hair stylist) who was also considered the most responsible contributing party for the look of the entry.

  1. Department Heads of winning categories may select up to five additional outstanding contributors to receive Award Certificates for “Recognition for Outstanding Contribution”. These names must be entered at the time of submission and cannot be added later.  The Department Head also will have the option to opt out as an applicant if it is determined another artist or artists are more responsible for what is being recognized.
  2.  Ineligible entries will be disqualified at any stage of the competition when grounds for such disqualification come to the Guild Awards Rules & Regulations Committee’s attention.  The Guild Awards Rules & Regulations Committee reserves the right to determine the eligibility of all entries, persons and nominations and to reject any entries for any reason, including, but not limited to, inability to verify information or failure to satisfy the applicable rules.   The Guild Awards Rules & Regulations Committee retains the right to determine the accuracy of the information contained in the entries.
  3. In the event of a tie for first place in the balloting, awards shall be given for both achievements.
  4. Eligibility for a Guild Award shall be limited to entries which have met the following requirements (where applicable) and have completed the application in full which will include:
    • Full and complete credits authenticated by their ending screen credits, or producer production company verification or a studio Awards Department.  In any and all disputes, final determination shall be made by the Guild Awards Rules & Regulations’ Committee. Intentional falsification of credits will result in disqualification of the entire entry.
    • For television productions provide the network, cable provider or streaming service where the entry has played or aired.  All entries must include the dates of the run, airing or the performance.
    • For theatrical (live theater) submissions, the name of the theater must be included. If video is not available photos and a description between minimum 200 maximum of 500 words of the work performed.
    • Statement of minimum 50 and no more than 200 words or less by the entrant of the techniques used to achieve the make-up or hair styling application. This is to inform the voting peer group of the processes you employed as the Department Head. This detailed description should speak to techniques and how your 2nd assisted you in the production of the looks.
    • The Petition for one or two additional nominee(s) will include an area for minimum 50 words maximum 100 words WHY THIS PERSON or persons should be included in the entry.
    • A disclaimer must be revealed if any portion of a submission does not conform to the category in which it is submitted, and this disclaimer must be clearly disclosed.  For example, if an artist has a prosthetic applied in conjunction with a non- prosthetic Period and/or Character Category, he or she must submit this disclaimer to the fact, discounting the prosthetic aspect of the make-up so the member can read disclaimer up front when voting in this category.
    • Department Heads may be asked to provide additional information for any petitions or disclaimers sent to the vetting committee.  Submission for petition does not guarantee a place on the ballot.
  1. The submitter must verify and submit the correct email address and spelling of names for the entrants. All descriptions used MUST be provided by the Department Head or Personal Artist of the submission at time of original submission- no late descriptions will be accepted.
  2. In all categories if your submission is nominated, a three (3) to a five (5) minute video clip showcasing the techniques used must be provided.

No additional scoring or music allowed. 

Make no reference to the individuals, facilities, or production companies associated with the work for submission.

You will be contacted at the email you provided with a link to upload your video.

  1. Submitter must include a contact email that can be reached during non-office hours if there are questions regarding your submission during the vetting process.  All submissions not received on time or are incomplete may be held ineligible.

  1. All entries must be completed online must contain adequate evidence of authorization to use any names, likenesses, clips/excerpts/photographs associated with the entry and any other intellectual property necessary for evaluation of the entry, consideration of a nomination or otherwise in connection with the nomination and award-granting process. Official submission forms may be accessed through Awards Force
  2. Award winners agree, by accepting the statue, that they may not sell, lease, license, reproduce or otherwise transfer the statue to any other person or entity for any purpose, including any commercial purpose.   A statue recipient shall be allowed, upon that recipient’s death, to pass the statue on only to their lawful heir (s). Statue recipients are prohibited from making any modifications, alterations or other physical changes of any kind to the statue, including the removal of any plate or plaque identifying the awards recipient.   Once a statue recipient’s lawful heir(s) has/have died, the statue must be returned to the Guild.
  3. All persons or entities seeking to qualify an entry, all nominees and award winners and any production company, network or other production-related entity associated with any of the foregoing acknowledge, by virtue of their participation in the entry qualification, nomination and award process, that they have read and taken such steps as they deem appropriate to familiarize themselves with the Guild’s guidelines for the use of the Guild’s trademarks, service marks and copyrights and hereby agree to recognize and abide by all restrictions on the use of the Guild’s intellectual property and, further, agree to take appropriate steps to assure that they  safeguard and honor any limitations,  prohibitions and restrictions on the use of the Awards statue and the Guild’s intellectual property, including, but not limited to, any and all guidelines for use of the trademarks, service marks and copyrights   promulgated by the Guild, the Guild Awards Rules & Regulations Committee or any licensee(s) (within the scope of their license(s)),  whether now in existence or promulgated hereafter.

 HOW NOMINATIONS WORK 

Monday, October 31, 2022, submissions for consideration are opened to Make-up Artists & Hair Stylists of the film, television, theatrical and commercial production communities.

 Entries may be submitted by Department Heads, Personal Artists, Studios, Awards Offices and/or productions see rules above.  Entries must be done online through Awards Force/Submissions Platform and submitted no later than Wednesday, November 30,2022 at 11:59 PM PST.

NO LATE SUBMISSIONS WILL BE ACCEPTED!! 

 BALLOTING

  1. The ballot to determine the first eligible five (5) nominations will be available for voting on the (Awards Force/ Voting Platform)Friday December 16, 2022 All Ballots are voted upon by Local 706 Active & Active Retiree membership only.
  2. Voting for nominations closes Friday January 6, 2023 at 11:59PM PST
  3. Nominations will be announced Wednesday, January 11, 2023

THE FINAL BALLOT 

  1. The final ballot will include a list of the nominated productions in each category. The final ballot will be through (Awards Force/ Voting Platform) available to all Active & Active Retiree members, in good standing of Local 706 l.A.T.S.E. starting on Monday January 23, 2023 and must be completed no later than Friday February 3, 2023 at 11:59 PM PST. Online voting only–NO PAPER BALLOTS will be offered or accepted.
  2. Online tallying will be done by (Awards Force/ Voting Platform) Winners will be announced at the MUAHS Awards Show on Saturday, February 11, 2023 during the live show held at the Beverly Hilton Hotel
